Louis Vuitton’s pockets generally induce a provoke when new layouts are liberated, but its latest accumulation is not going down in quite the same way.
Makers, the comfort maker’s new accumulation in collaboration with American creator Jeff Koons, boasts iconic works by Old Masters Leonardo da Vinci, Vincent Van Gogh, and Titian, among others.
But while the style room might’ve thought it was a work of art, beings online had other ideas and they did not hold back.
Of course, LV has some die-hard fans.
Prices for the Masters collection start at $585 to around $4,000, and is set to opening on April 28.
According to Koons, who is known for working with pop culture topics, the pockets are a “celebration of humanity.”
“I would hope that when individual goes down the street with this that what they’re doing is, they are really celebrating humanity, ” he announces in an Instagram video.
“I believe that these pockets are art.”
